Low Voltage Electrical Engineer - Germany, Frankfurt - 18 Month Contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Frankfurt. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for aLow Voltage Electrical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Design and implement low voltage (LV) electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control panels
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety regulations, and pharmaceutical facility standards
  • Support installation, commissioning, and qualification (CQV) of LV systems across cleanrooms, labs, and production areas
  • Coordinate with automation, HVAC, and facility teams to ensure seamless system integration
  • Conduct technical reviews, support troubleshooting, and ensure documentation is up to date
  • Participate in FAT/SAT, validation, and handover activities
  • Ensure system reliability, redundancy, and energy efficiency
  • Support the development of SOPs and maintenance strategies
Key requirements include:
  • Requires extensive experience in LV electrical engineering, ideally in GMP or sterile environments
  • Strong understanding of electrical standards and cleanroom requirements
  • Experience in greenfield or brownfield project delivery
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and coordination skills
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
