You will ensure goods receipts are processed completely and inventory data remains reliable. As ourLogistics Manager – 3PL Operations & Inventory Coordination, you will be the operational interface between IronMaxx and our external logistics partners across Germany and the DACH region.
You ensure that goods receipts are processed completely and correctly, inventory data is reliable, agreed service levels are met, and operational exceptions are identified, escalated, and resolved in a structured way.

3PL Operations & Partner Coordination

• Manage the day-to-day operational collaboration with our external warehouses and 3PL logistics providers.


• Act as the central operational contact for warehouse-related issues, deviations, and escalations.


• Monitor agreed service levels, operational performance, and processing quality of our logistics partners.


• Follow up on open operational cases and ensure clear ownership, deadlines, and resolution.


• Coordinate operational topics between 3PL partners and internal departments such as Procurement, Planning, Customer Operations, Finance, and Sales.


• Identify recurring operational issues and drive corrective actions together with internal and external stakeholders.


• Support onboarding, transitions, and operational setup of new logistics partners or warehouse locations.

Goods Receipt & Inventory Management

• Ensure the complete and timely processing of incoming goods across external warehouse locations.


• Monitor open, incomplete, delayed, or incorrectly booked goods receipts and actively clarify discrepancies.


• Investigate deviations between physical inventory, warehouse data, delivery documentation, and ERP records.


• Manage inventory exceptions such as missing stock, quantity differences, damaged goods, incorrect bookings, and blocked inventory.


• Coordinate inventory corrections and ensure transparent and traceable documentation of adjustments.


• Support inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical stock counts.


• Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and system data quality.

Exception & Escalation Management

• Proactively identify operational deviations before they impact availability, delivery performance, or customer service.


• Structure and prioritize operational exceptions based on urgency, financial impact, and business relevance.


• Escalate SLA breaches, unresolved inventory discrepancies, and operational bottlenecks to the appropriate stakeholders.


• Coordinate root-cause analyses for recurring discrepancies and operational failures.


• Track corrective measures through to completion and verify that agreed actions are implemented.


• Maintain clear documentation of open issues, responsibilities, deadlines, and resolutions.

Operational Performance & Process Improvement

• Monitor relevant operational KPIs such as goods receipt completeness, inventory accuracy, processing times, open exceptions, and SLA performance.


• Create regular operational reports and provide transparency on outstanding issues and performance gaps.


• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve warehouse and inventory processes.


• Support the implementation and optimization of interfaces between ERP systems, warehouse systems, and logistics processes.


• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives together with internal teams and external logistics partners.


• Develop practical solutions that improve process reliability, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Your skillset - as strong as our protein

• Completed commercial or logistics-related vocational training, degree, or comparable qualification.


• Several years of professional experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, inventory management, or 3PL coordination.


• Practical understanding of warehouse processes, especially goods receipt, inventory management, stock reconciliation, and exception handling.


• Experience working with external warehouses, logistics service providers, or 3PL partners is highly desirable.


• Strong ability to investigate discrepancies, structure operational problems, and drive them through to resolution.


• Confident working with ERP and warehouse data; experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems is an advantage.


• Very good MS Excel skills and a strong affinity for numbers, operational data, and structured analysis.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several operational topics simultaneously.


• High level of ownership, reliability, and attention to detail.


• Hands-on mentality with a strong follow-up approach – you do not simply identify issues, you make sure they are resolved.


• Confident communication with external logistics partners and internal stakeholders.


• Ability to remain structured and solution-oriented in a fast-moving operational environment.


• Fluent German and English are required.
