Logistics & Supply Planning Manager Cl. Central (m/f/x)

Lead the team of supply planning specialists and logistics specialists to ensure the execution and fulfillment of all supply planning & logistics activities within the cluster. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional project management within the cluster supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Logistics and Supply Planning team across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Monitor process performance through KPIs, ensuring corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate daily logistics operations including provider performance, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, returns, claims, and legal compliance.
• Manage subcontracting orders, material planning, and transfers.
• Oversee inventory allocation and health at local distribution centers.
• Control logistics costs and report accordingly.
• Validate and approve logistics invoicing.
• Monitor KPIs and costs, identify efficiencies, and collaborate with 3PL providers.
• Handle customer, internal, and third-party logistics requests.
• Support tenders and process optimization initiatives.
• Lead projects at the cluster level and develop SOPs.
• Drive European process harmonization and continuous improvement with 3PLs.
• Support audits related to logistics.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in Supply Chain; APICS certification is a plus.
• Over 7 years of experience in logistics and supply planning within a matrixed multinational.
• Experience leading cross-country teams in an international, hybrid environment.
• Fluent in English and German (C1 or higher).
• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Excellent analytical, logical, and data skills.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with digital tools such as Power BI, SAP, and Microsoft 365.
• Willing to travel occasionally and collaborate internationally.
