Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience with customs authorities in Europe/USA.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.

Your mission

• Identify and assign correct tariff codes for new products
• Maintain an up-to-date database of tariff codes and related documentation
• Prepare and send detailed customs clearance instructions for all shipments
• Liaise with customs agents to ensure smooth clearance processes
• Research and compare freight costs by sea and air
• Provide detailed overviews and recommendations on the best modes of transport for different shipments
• Create and manage shipments in our ERP system and monitor incoming goods and ensure accurate inventory updates
• Check and approve invoices from freight forwarders and warehouses, ensure all charges are correct and match the agreed terms
• Possess a solid understanding of logistics charges, including VAT, tax, and duties
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and requirements
  
  

Your profile

• You have a completed degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Extensive experience in working with customs authorities and processes in Europe and/or USA
• Great English AND German communication skills, both in written and spoken language
