What's the role?

In this role, you will be globally responsible for defining and implementing our plant logistics strategy, contributing to the achievement of our Global Manufacturing strategic targets. You will interface with key global experts and business owners across Hilti to enhance customer experience, employee experience, efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance within our core business processes.

This position is based in Kaufering, Germany.

What does the role involve?

You will oversee and optimize logistics management across our production network, including inbound logistics, inventory optimization, production flow, and warehouse and distribution management within individual plants and across our global network. Collaboration with peers such as Business Units and Global Logistics is essential.

You will lead process communities responsible for defining, implementing, and improving state-of-the-art process management systems (including processes, data, systems, organizational structure) to enhance customer and employee experiences, efficiency, and compliance.

Responsibilities also include enabling efficient onboarding of new users, knowledge management through documentation, training, reporting on KPIs, suggesting and supporting local improvements, and leading workshops with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., consultants, software providers).
