We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operations Manager Northern Europe based in Germany.

In this role, the successful candidate will manage warehouse operations and logistics providers in Northern Europe, oversee costs, share best practices, and maintain standardization in warehouse operations. They will drive operational execution through proactive collaboration with transportation, Customer Logistics & Supply Chain (COM&LS), and customer logistics teams, acting as the key contact for Warehousing to Logistics & Distribution Manager and Mill Managers.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Define and execute the warehouse strategy for Northern Europe (Benelux + DACH), meeting OTIF, cost/m3, safety, quality, and compliance targets.
• Drive warehousing efficiencies by owning warehouse KPIs: cost, activity, productivity, including RFT.
• Optimize distribution costs/m3 by driving cost efficiency and responsible for cost transformation and storage.
• Coordinate month-end operational activities to ensure excellence, collaborating with Transport, Customer Logistics, and 3PL providers.
• Manage 3PL performance through meetings (MBR, QBR), and implement improvement plans on site, supporting the Ecommerce and Innovation manager.
• Champion the safety agenda in logistics operations by working closely with 3PLs and the EMEA Safety Team.
• Oversee DC maintenance and investment plans, collaborating with mills to cover all logistics needs within capital and maintenance plans.
• Manage quality-related matters, including quality audits, product recalls, and resolving customer/business quality issues.

Storage Capacity Management

• Responsible for stock accuracy and physical stock counts across all logistics locations.
