Could you be the next Logistics Manager (m/w/d) in Berlin we’re looking for?

Your Future Role
Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom's DACH regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalisation. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites.

We’ll look for you to :

• Ensure optimization of warehousing layouts, packaging and kitting and storage policy
• Ensure optimization of transportation flow & cost according to QCDE (Quality Cost Delivery Environment Health & Safety) principles
• Ensure alignment between physical and system flows
• Define and establish robust way of work with Field Operation teams
• Manage Budget for the department and all costs associated
• Ensure the inventory process is in compliance with Alstom standard rules (Delegation of Authority DOA, instruction)
• Ensure the ERP solution (Enterprise Resource Planning solution) is implemented, correctly used and guarantee the master data quality
• Ensure continuous improvement following APSYS (Alstom Performance System) methodology
• Coordination of the with PMM/Field Operations the material deliveries according project activities/milestones
• Coordination of any reverse logistic (with Quality department) from the Field to Warehouses to guarantee stock accuracy
• Actively participate in all aspects of safety including reporting of near misses and meetings

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Multiple years of experience in Logistics & Warehouse management
• Good knowledge of German and English language
• Driving license preferred as well as a certain flexibility regarding mobility
