Zusammenfassung

Das IT-Systemhaus der Bundesagentur für Arbeit in Berlin sucht einen Logistiker/in zur Verwaltung internationaler Logistikprojekte. Sie haben die Verantwortung für die Überwachung von KPIs, Problemlösung und ständige Verbesserung der Logistikleistungen.

Der ideale Kandidat verfügt über einen Hochschulabschluss in Betriebswirtschaft mit Logistikschwerpunkt und mindestens einige Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem internationalen Umfeld. Flexible Arbeitszeitmodelle und betriebliche Altersvorsorge werden geboten.

Qualifikationen

• Berufserfahrung in der Logistik, insbesondere im internationalen Projektmanagement.
• Fähigkeit zur Koordination von internationalen cross-funktionalen Teams.
• Erfahrung in Risikomanagement sowie Kenntnis von Vertragsrecht.

A Snapshot of Your Day

Your day will start by reviewing and remedying any short-term logistical arisings reported from your stakeholder network. This could be anything from a quick phone call to a multi-functional meeting where you coordinate responses.

Next up is a weekly review of your performance dashboard which includes KPIs on budget, on-time delivery performance, transport damage, responsiveness, and risk mitigation. You initiate actions with logistics partners to continuously improve performance.

Your afternoon starts with a regular performance review with one of your key logistics suppliers. After that you head off to a new project steering committee where you present the logistics concept for the transportation of blades and vanes along the value stream. Finally, you ensure any highly critical shipments for the day are progressing to plan.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Management and controlling of both simple and complex international logistics projects as well as checking for compliance to specifications and services (contractual provisions, costs, prices, deadlines, etc.).
• Personal attention to details of high priority logistics operations ensuring the service meets (or beats) requirements.
• Creating and maintaining a dashboard of KPIs to measure the performance of the logistics operations.
• Continuous attention to problem solving and improvement initiatives to ensure world class logistics support as Siemens Energy Blades & Vanes expands its global operations.
• Enforcing contractual clauses in case of shortfall in service levels.

What You Bring

• Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration or a similar field, preferably with a focus on Logistics.
• Professional experience in Logistics, ideally in the design, proposal, calculation, and execution of international projects with customer- and country-specific requirements.
• Experience working in international cross-functional teams, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, combined with strong logistical and contract law knowledge.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required by project and business needs.
• Experience in risk, claim, and opportunity management as well as related process knowledge would be desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English, combined with excellent MS Office and SAP knowledge.
