Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Logistics Planning Specialist who will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of logistics-related processes in the warehouse environment. Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
- Development and Maintenance of Logistics Processes: You develop, implement, and maintain logistics processes, particularly in the areas of warehouse organization and control.
- Optimization of Logistics Systems: You ensure the smooth operation and continuous optimization of the Warehouse Management System (LFS) and the Material Flow Control System (WAMAS).
- Integration of System Interfaces: You ensure seamless integration of interfaces between LFS, WAMAS, and the ERP system Newton.
- Responsibility for Logistics Projects: You take responsibility for logistics projects, such as the introduction of new forklift types or the improvement of work organization and logistics processes.
- Coordination and Implementation of Projects: You coordinate and execute projects that introduce new technologies and logistics-related equipment.
- Creation of Reports and Analyses: You create regular reports and analyses to monitor the efficiency of logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
Your profile
- You have a completed university degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- You bring 3+ years of professional experience in logistics processes and system management.
- You have in-depth experience with Warehouse Management Systems (LFS) and Material Flow Control Systems (WAMAS).
- You possess strong knowledge of operational processes and systems and have experience working with LFS (Warehouse Management System) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) from EPG.
- Your skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI allow you to efficiently analyze and present data.
- You are fluent in English and have native proficiency in German, enabling you to communicate effectively in international teams.
