In this role, the Location Support Representative (m/f/d) will work extensively with the Unterschleissheim office in Germany - onsite position.
The post holder will be responsible for executing Location Support tasks to support the functional activities within Emerson Test & Measurement (T&M), contributing to the success of the organization.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Provide general administrative support mainly in Germany, reporting to the Regional Location Support Manager.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the office and act as a business partner and key connector to site leaders to build and maintain a strong employee community and office culture, focusing on engagement, site-wide activities, and efficient site functions.
- Manage front office operations – greet visitors, act as point of contact, and handle their queries.
- Answer and transfer phone calls to respective employees, handle emails.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flight tickets, visa processing, hotel bookings, and ground transportation.
- Manage the company car fleet.
- Support the sites in maintaining a healthy, safe, and hygienic office environment.
- Procure office consumables and supplies, manage upkeep and inventory.
- Coordinate and negotiate with service vendors.
- Serve as point of contact with building management for landlord relations, maintenance, repairs, and services.
- Update policies and guidelines to clarify provided services.
- Collaborate with services and finance teams to ensure timely purchase orders and invoice processing.
- Maintain physical or electronic filing systems for contracts and documentation.
- Manage customer service operations, ensuring effective responses to customer needs.
- Organize inbound and outbound shipments from various sites.
- Support internal meetings, events, and provide backup for global meetings and appointments.
