General target is to increase market penetration among small and medium-sized customers as well as large-business projects through the distribution channel, in collaboration with the HFE Sales team and local distribution teams.
Additionally, the LDM aims to develop a small but significant portfolio of direct customers within their designated territory, primarily active in the Industrial & Energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the distribution network and their territory assignments in cooperation with Sales; maintain distribution contracts.
- Gather feedback from distributors to optimize HFE's support, service, and policies for the distribution network.
- Collect and manage reports from distributors.
- Make final decisions on project registration requests, in collaboration with Sales.
- Promote and sell the Hongfa product range; act as the sales and technical interface for defined direct customers in the Industrial & Energy sectors, and determine future customer handling strategies.
- Manage resolution of rejected S&D claims.
- Conduct business reviews with distributors alongside local sales.
- Coordinate activities between pan-European and local distributors.
- Initiate and support marketing activities for distributors, working with marketing, product management, and application engineers.
- Maintain price lists.
- Develop additional sales channels, such as electrical wholesalers, including pre-research on new channels like the internet.
- Travel regularly to customers, trade shows, factories, and other relevant meetings.
Ihr Profil
- Strong technical skills, achieved through a bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar technical field.
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- International work experience.
- Intercultural skills, presentation, and management abilities.
- Ability to manage complex sales processes involving engagement at all levels, from engineering and technical teams to senior management, understanding when and why.
- Fluent business English and German skills (spoken and written).
