Duties & Responsibilities :

Design, implementation and verification of complex Linux Platform components sit at the center of your responsibilities.

Assist in defining product requirements through preliminary research and concept exploration.

Definition and review of architectural concepts.

Linux OS image development and deployment of software updates.

Hardware installation and initial bring-up tests.

Act as a bridge for platform releases between development and production.

Platform related quality assurance including bug investigation and triaging.

Team-oriented task execution.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements :

Completed degree in (technical) computer science or comparable experience.

Expert knowledge and experience with Debian / Ubuntu Linux OS.

Good knowledge with Linux System programming languages like Bash, Python, C / C++.

Fair understanding of Linux hardware platforms and kernel drivers.

Responsible and independent decision making.

Excellent communication skills in German and English.

Knowledge of IPC, SystemD, mkosi, DEB package management, NGINX, OS Security, Linux UEFI Secure Boot technologies constitute an advantage.
