Location: Brunswick, Sindelfingen, Munich or (remote work) in Prague, Mladá Boleslav (Czech Republic), Pune or Bangalore (India)

As a Linux Client and Server Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Linux systems in a large virtualized environment with more than 400 users.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation and configuration of Rocky Linux
• Automation of installations with Kickstart, Ansible, and other tools
• Provision and administration of applications
• Carrying out system updates and patching
• User and group administration connected to Microsoft Active Directory
• Operation, update, and backup of databases
• Operation and development of monitoring solutions with Icinga2, Grafana, and Prometheus
• 1st and 2nd level support

• Curiosity and motivation to learn new topics
• Ability to solve complex problems independently

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent training preferred
• Strong affinity for Linux technologies and experience in a similar role
• Practical experience with Linux (Rocky/RHEL)
• Proficiency in Bash and Python
• Familiarity with LDAP and monitoring tools (Icinga, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Knowledge of MySQL and OracleDB
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
