We are looking for a full-time Lightning and Shading Artist with expertise in the Unreal Engine (all genders) in Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt as soon as possible.
You are characterized by an excellent eye for detail and profound technical knowledge of Epic's Unreal Engine. Experience as a photographer or DOP is a plus. Proficiency with complex CGI pipelines and working independently in a structured way are also desired.

What you can expect:

• Work on challenging projects for premium clients, delivering high standards of visual quality and aesthetics
• Develop, manage, and optimize 3D assets in Unreal Engine for high-quality stills and cinematics, meeting real-time performance requirements
• Set up and fine-tune shaders and lighting configurations in Unreal Engine to ensure performance and visual excellence
• Ensure the highest visual and technical quality of assets, aligning with the Art Director’s vision
• Collaborate with the development team to enhance CG pipelines and workflows
• Work closely with a motivated team of CG artists to achieve project goals

What we expect from you:

• At least 4 years of production experience, preferably in automotive visualization using Unreal Engine
• Proven experience as a lighting and shading artist with Unreal Engine and tools like Maya, 3DS Max, or VRay
• Experience developing PBR materials within Unreal Engine
• Familiarity with complex CGI pipelines and workflows
• Deep passion for creating high-quality visualizations and automotive projects
• Ability to work independently with a structured, solution-oriented mindset
• Strong organizational skills and excellent time management
• Very good English and German skills (spoken and written)
