Zusammenfassung

MaxHealth is seeking a licensed professional counselor to provide comprehensive behavioral health services across pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations. The role includes individual, family, and group therapy, psychosocial assessments, and evidence-based interventions.

You will document treatment plans, collaborate with care teams, and ensure timely clinical documentation. The position supports both in-clinic and telehealth care within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• Active LPC license in the State of Texas.
• Experience treating pediatric patients, including children under 10 (preferred).
• Experience with behavioral health conditions including ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and TBI-related needs (required).
• Demonstrated ability to work within an integrated, team-based care model.

JOB DUTIES

1. Clinical Care Delivery

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions for behavioral health conditions including, but not limited to:

• Clearly document treatment plans and recommended follow-up care in a manner understandable to patients and families.
• Complete and sign clinical documentation in accordance with payer and organizational timelines (e.g., within 48 hours where required).

• Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and care team members to ensure integrated patient care.
• Communicate effectively with referral sources and internal teams in a professional and timely manner.
• Support continuity of care through appropriate follow-up, referrals, and coordination.

• Provide services in both in-person clinic settings and via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
• Maintain flexibility to meet patient access needs, including same-day or urgent behavioral health visits when appropriate.
