French Consulting in Stuttgart is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CAFBHS) to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves psychosocial assessment, counseling, and coordinating care for diverse patients in a military-adjacent setting.

The candidate should hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, possess an active LCSW license, and have training in CPT, Prolonged Exposure, or EMDR along with BLS certification. CNACI check and SOFA eligibility are required.

Job Overview:

Includes, but not limited to Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Mental Health; Medical Social Worker Adolescent Support and Counseling Services (ASACS) Counselors; Special Needs; BH/TBI, EDIS Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant; and Behavioral Health Care Facilitator.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).

Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Social Work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

Training in at least one of the three Evidence-Based Psychotherapies (EBPs)—Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), or EMDR) is a mandatory requirement.

Certification: Life support training. The contractor is required to obtain and maintain a certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association and/or the Red Cross approved training program prior to contract start date.

Experience: Experience in clinical social work, either through a master’s-level practicum or 2 years post-MSW experience, within the last 3 years, in a clinical/treatment setting.

Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Preferred:

Prior experience working with/or treating active duty servicemembers and/or their family members and/or having a sound working knowledge of military culture.

This position requires Child Care National Agency Check with Inquiries (CNACI).

Core Duties:

• Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and other Government agencies for services
• Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members and formulate and implement a treatment plan, identifying the patient’s problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and assistance needed, in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary treatment team
• Independently conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational, and other diverse backgrounds. Training in at least one of the following three evidenced based behavioral health treatments is required: 1) Cognitive Processing therapy, 2) Prolonged Exposure Therapy, or 3) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
• Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic and traumatic illnesses/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology
• Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, children, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals
• Independently provide counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, children, couples, and families
• Must practice within the bounds of the license or certification and the privileges granted by the MTF
• Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment
• Participate in professional peer review case conferences, research studies, or other organizations required at the MTF

This position is eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
