Job summary

mercor is seeking a Legal Expert — Tier 1 Specialist for a remote contract role requiring 24–30 hours of work. You will read synthetic legal matters, review AI deliverables, and write precise rationales to support preferences, all within a stringent NDA framework.

Focus areas include sanctions and export controls, structured finance and securitisation, or life sciences regulatory. You will work independently to deadlines and ensure high-quality, holistic judgments across assignments.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with deep, current practice experience in one of the specialisms.
