mercor is seeking a Legal Expert — Tier 1 Specialist (Project Donna) for a remote contract role requiring 24–30 hours per week. The candidate will read and assess synthetic legal matters, review AI deliverables, and write precise rationales, focusing on sanctions/export controls, structured finance, or life sciences regulation.

Independent work and strict deadlines are essential. The position emphasizes high-quality English, solo work abilities, and adherence to NDA terms.

Type: Contract

Compensation: $150–$156/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 24–30 hours

• Review six blinded AI deliverables for each matter.
• Conduct five head-to-head comparisons against a common comparator output.
• Write specific rationales for each preference.
• Ensure work aligns with specialism: sanctions and export controls, structured finance and securitisation, or life sciences and pharmaceutical regulatory.
• Work independently and adhere to deadlines.
