Responsibilities
  1. Advising management, business units, and departments on legal matters such as intra-group contracting, customer and project acquisition, purchasing activities including preparing, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and other contractual documents in the areas of automobile engineering, software programming, service provision, and licensing.
  2. Managing internal legal projects like implementing a Contract Management System, overseeing IP rights, and developing the Compliance Management System.
  3. Handling data protection inquiries in collaboration with the external Data Protection Officer.
  4. Providing support on individual and collective labor law issues.
  5. Drafting, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of compliance policies, legal procedures, internal controls, and processes.
  6. Supporting R&D departments with IP rights questions, patent protection, and negotiating development contracts with external and affiliated companies.
  7. Maintaining corporate housekeeping, including managing registers, processing KYC requests and UBO questionnaires, and liaising with group companies and shareholders.
  8. Managing external law firms on specific legal issues.
  9. Supporting the team in all legal matters and relevant legal areas.
Your profile :
  1. Qualified lawyer with at least five years of PQE, experience at a reputable law firm or in-house.
  2. Excellent written and spoken English (legal and business English) and German skills.
  3. Strong knowledge of corporate, contract law, and commercial transactions.
  4. Relevant experience with data protection/privacy laws (GDPR) and compliance.
  5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  6. Intercultural experience and openness to working in an international environment.
