Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management
  • Review and negotiate contracts for German / European PV projects (EPC, roof leasing agreements, equipment procurement, PPA), focusing on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead legal risk control for Turnkey rooftop PV projects to ensure compliant delivery.
• Energy Regulation & Policy Compliance
  • Monitor German Renewable Energy Act (EEG), EU directives, and local subsidy policies; provide compliance guidance.
  • Support project life-cycle legal needs (building permits, grid access approvals, environmental assessments).
• Compliance System Optimization
  • Enhance compliance processes under GmbHG, GDPR, and Anti-Money Laundering Act (GWG).
  • Provide specialized advice on rooftop PV risks (e.g., building codes, grid integration) and support HQ in developing localized risk frameworks.
• Dispute Resolution & Litigation
  • Manage lawsuits, arbitrations, and administrative disputes related to project development / grid access / subsidies.

Qualifications

• Education :
  • German law degree (specialization in Corporate / Commercial / Renewable Energy Law preferred).
• Experience :
  • 3+ years in legal roles with energy / infrastructure contract review and compliance expertise.
  • Experience in multinational legal departments or international law firms (Germany) preferred.
  • Key Plus : Deep understanding of rooftop PV legal risks (roof ownership, EEG compliance) or M&A integration.
• Skills :
  • Language : Fluent German & English (written / spoken); Mandarin is a plus.
  • Legal Expertise :
  • BGB, EEG / local subsidies, GDPR
  • BauGB and grid compliance requirements
