YOUR IMPACT

The Legal department provides advice, tools, and support to empower EQS to achieve our business objectives in line with legal and company requirements. We are seeking to strengthen our team during the maternity absence of one of our members for at least 1.5 years.

  • Advise and support management on all legal-related issues, especially concerning contracting and data protection.
  • Provide legal advice, negotiate, and review software license and service agreements with partners, suppliers, and customers worldwide, focusing on our Germany, Austria, and Switzerland region.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including the further development of EQS Group’s internal compliance structure.
  • Participate in the development of standard contracts and general terms and conditions.
  • Contribute to team projects, such as reviewing and updating contract forms in their respective national languages and following up on contract translations.

THIS IS YOU

  • You have a university degree in Law and a background in business, corporate, and data protection.
  • You possess relevant professional experience in the legal department of a technology company, ideally with a focus on SaaS products in an international environment. Independent practice will also be considered.
  • You’re proficient in English and German. (Other languages are a plus).
  • You enjoy collaborating with other teams and possess a strong understanding of business and economic contexts.
  • You are service- and results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • You have great negotiating skills.
  • You’re efficient and can manage changing tasks and priorities while remaining flexible to business needs.
