Qualifikationen

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in einer internationalen Kanzlei oder Industrie, idealerweise in der Pharmaindustrie.
• Ausgezeichnete Kenntnisse im Handels- und Vertragsrecht, vorzugsweise im pharmazeutischen und medizinischen Recht.

Aufgaben

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Join our global legal team and grow with exciting challenges. With your passion and expertise and together with our international colleagues, you will contribute to achieving our company goals. This position is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.

As a Legal Counsel, your responsibilities will include the following tasks:

1. Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements along the entire value chain of a pharmaceutical company with a focus on marketing and distribution agreements but also contracts such as CDAs, or service agreements or intercompany agreements.
2. Provide business-focused and reliable legal advice to internal stakeholders on various topics, such as marketing and distribution activities, sourcing or medical projects.
3. Identify and analyze legal risks, and develop and implement legally and economically sound solutions to mitigate them.
4. Identify training needs among business stakeholders and develop and present training and education on relevant legal topics.
5. Collaborate with the tax department on intercompany contracts and restructuring projects.
6. Coordinate and manage external counsel as required for advice across various jurisdictions.

YOUR PROFILE

1. Fully qualified Lawyer ("Volljurist*in") or equivalent education, preferably with additional qualification such as LL.M.
2. Several years of experience in an international law firm or industry, ideally in a pharmaceutical company.
3. Excellent knowledge of commercial and contract law, preferably knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical law.
4. Expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Ability to present complex issues to various target groups.
8. Independent, proactive, and customer-oriented working style.
9. Team player with intercultural competence, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills.
