Overview

As a Legal Counsel at Danfoss, you will enable confident business decisions while protecting our company in a dynamic, international environment. This fixed‑term role (~11 months) is a parental leave cover. You will step into a crucial position, ensuring continuity and stability across key legal topics. The role is based in either Nürnberg or Offenbach am Main.

You will directly shape how we manage contracts, mitigate risks, and resolve disputes, supporting sustainable growth and strong partnerships. Your advice will help teams move forward with clarity and confidence. Working closely with colleagues across functions and countries, you will embed practical legal thinking into everyday business, making a real impact from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advise stakeholders on legal matters to enable sound, risk‑aware business decisions
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in German and English to protect and strengthen business relationships
• Translate complex legal questions into clear recommendations to support strategic decisions
• Support claims and dispute resolution processes to safeguard company interests and minimize risk
• Develop templates, policies, and training to build legal awareness and consistency across teams
