Your future contribution

As an ambitious (business) lawyer with professional experience, you will shape the future of the travel industry with us and apply your profound business and corporate law understanding in the environment of the online travel world. You will take responsibility, work autonomously and be part of a dynamic and highly qualified legal team that enables the HomeToGo Group to scale further. Candid feedback, as well as a dynamic and open-minded work atmosphere make you thrive and you are eager to use your analytical skills to come up with innovative legal solutions. You deliver outstanding advice, review thoroughly and take on a high variety of legal tasks in particular concerning business and corporate law as well as general civil law including commercial contracts.

How You’ll Add Value

• Working closely with our experienced in-house team to advise on all aspects of business and corporate law within the HomeToGo Group
• Working mostly autonomously with other HomeToGo business teams on civil and commercial law topics
• Reviewing, negotiating and drafting of contracts in close collaboration with various departments and group entities
• Assessing legal requests and finding pragmatic solutions
• Performing legal housekeeping and coordinating with relevant stakeholders
• Communicating legal advice in a simple, practicable and clear manner
• Focus areas: business and corporate law, civil/commercial law

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• At least one law or business law degree recognized in the European Union; two state exams or a master’s degree are a plus
• 3+ years of work experience in a law firm, corporate environment, or preferably in a mature scale-up
• 3+ years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on business/corporate law relating to German companies
• High proficiency in German and English (fluent); other languages are a plus
• Diligent and reliable working style, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
• Business understanding, solution orientation and sound judgment
• Autonomous, proactive and pragmatic work approach with ability to prioritize and respect deadlines
• Good analytical and communication skills; tech-savviness and genuine interest in technology (e.g. AI) are a plus
• Open-minded, receptive to candid feedback, and possessing a direct communication style
