Legal Counsel Data Privacy (m/f/d)

As part of our team, you will ensure data protection compliance across our operations, supporting the development of compliant products and solutions, and providing legal guidance on data privacy laws globally and in Europe.

• Support the development of data protection-compliant products and solutions.
• Serve as the primary contact for data privacy matters within the company.
• Provide legal opinions on data protection laws, including labor law, in Europe and internationally.
• Assist in implementing privacy by design and default principles.
• Manage contractual relationships with data processors to ensure compliance.
• Advise on data privacy contracts and policies.
• Support operational teams with data protection expertise.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and advise on compliance.
• Maintain and develop data protection policies and management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Certified Data Protection Officer, Lawyer, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in data protection roles, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of Art. 25 GDPR, supported by relevant certifications.
• Legal expertise in contractual support (Art. 28 GDPR).
• Experience in developing risk treatment plans.
• Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Collaborative, disciplined, and effective communicator.
