Your mission

As Legal Counsel – Contract & Commercial Affairs, you will play a key role within IONITY’s Legal team, supporting our goals across Europe. You will work with stakeholders in 24 countries to shape commercial outcomes, mitigate risks, and ensure legal security as we expand. This role is ideal for a law graduate eager to advance their career in a tech-driven, innovative environment focused on sustainable mobility.

Your Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with a focus on practicality and risk management
• Provide legal advice to internal teams like Network Development, Procurement, and Product & Growth on commercial, civil, and regulatory matters, mainly under German and EU law
• Stay updated on legal developments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in e-mobility
• Leverage digital tools to optimize legal operations and add value across the organization

Your profile

You are a legally trained professional with a business mindset, capable of working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You should have:

• First German State Examination in Law (erstes Staatsexamen)
• 1–3 years of relevant experience or internships in legal departments or law firms
• Solid knowledge of German civil and commercial law, and interest in EU regulations
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• French skills are a plus
