Your mission

As Legal Counsel – Contract & Commercial Affairs, you’ll play a pivotal role within IONITY’s Legal team, supporting our goals across Europe. You will work with stakeholders in 24 countries, contributing to decisions that drive sustainable mobility. Your work will shape commercial outcomes, mitigate risks, and ensure legal security as we scale. This role is ideal for a law graduate eager to develop their legal career in a high-tech environment, utilizing digital tools and legal solutions to enhance impact.

Your Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, focusing on implementation and risk mitigation
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to internal teams on commercial, civil, and regulatory matters under German and EU law
• Monitor legal developments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in the e-mobility sector
• Leverage digital tools to streamline legal operations and add value

Your profile

You are a legally trained professional with a business mindset, capable of working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You should have:

• A completed First German State Examination in Law
• 1-3 years of relevant experience or internships
• Solid knowledge of German civil and commercial law, interest in EU regulations
• Fluency in German and English, with French skills as a bonus

Additional qualities include strong communication, a tech-savvy approach, entrepreneurial spirit, and a collaborative mindset. Note that a work permit may be required if you are not a passport holder of the country of the vacancy.
