For our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for an In House (Senior) lawyer. We welcome you to join a growing team of extraordinarily talented and enthusiastic people, developing tailor-made cars for the European market. We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise bilingual contracts (English & German), including R&D cooperation agreements, service agreements, confidentiality agreements, consulting contracts, and other documents.
• Support legal matters relating to intellectual property, data protection and privacy compliance, R&D, labour relations and other operational issues.
• Advice on German intellectual property law, EU GDPR, corporate law, contract law, labor law and other related matters.
• Coordinate with external professional institutes and internal Chinese legal teams to ensure cross-border alignment.
• Assist in internal legal audits, due diligence, risk reviews, and legal archiving.
• Monitor German legal updates and advise on risk mitigation and compliance strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in law or above, with lawyer qualification certificate;
• More than 3 years legal working experience, including working as a lawyer in a law firm and as an in-house lawyer in a company;
• Relevant working experience in automotive industry, familiar with relevant EU laws and regulations on automotive industry;
• Capable to use German and English as working languages;
• Analyze independently and provide legal suggestions on the potential risks and impacts in business operation, project implementation and contracts.
• Fluent communication skills to exchange with personnel of various internal departments, external entity and lawyers.
• Working experience in a Chinese company is a plus, Chinese language is a plus.
