Zusammenfassung

Nuna is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel to join our Munich-based legal team. The role supports the EMEA region with commercial and corporate law expertise, in-house and private practice background, and a pragmatic approach to risk and compliance.

The ideal candidate is a qualified German lawyer with extensive experience, fluent in English and German, and comfortable operating in an international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a qualified lawyer admitted in Germany (DRiG)
• 7+ years post-admission legal experience, including at least 3 years in-house
• Strong background in commercial and corporate law; compliance, regulatory, employment, or IP is a plus
• Fluent English and German are required

Aufgaben

• Provide clear, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and legal documents
• Support development and implementation of internal legal policies, procedures, and systems
• Manage legal disputes and litigation
• Support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management activities
• Manage and coordinate external counsel as required
• Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our legal team based in Munich. This role will provide legal support to our businesses in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial judgment, a pragmatic mindset, and extensive legal expertise gained from both private practice and in-house roles.

What you'll do

• Provide clear, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and legal documents
• Support development and implementation of internal legal policies, procedures, and systems
• Manage legal disputes and litigation
• Support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management activities
• Manage and coordinate external counsel as required
• Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business

What you'll bring

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Germany and eligible for judicial office (Section 5 of the German Judiciary Act (DRiG))
• Minimum of 7 years’ post-admission legal experience, including at least 3 years of in-house experience
• Strong background in commercial and corporate law; additional expertise in compliance, regulatory, employment, or IP is a plus
• Fluent English and German required
• Experience working in an international or cross-border environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
