The Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) at the University of Luxembourg is an interdisciplinary research centre committed to high-quality research and public dissemination in the field of contemporary history with a particular focus on digital methods and tools.
The C2DH's ambition is to venture off the beaten track and find new ways of doing, teaching and presenting contemporary history of Luxembourg and the history of Europe in the 20th and 21st centuries. It serves as a catalyst for innovative and creative scholarship and new forms of public dissemination.
About the role...
Your role is to provide legal advice and support, draft and negotiate contracts, contribute to decision making processes, as well as to the development of policies in compliance with existing regulations. Embedded in a committed team, you will advocate the use of best practices in your domain and report directly to the C2DH Head of Operations. You will collaborate with several colleagues and liaise with central departments and offices of the University of Luxembourg, e.g. for GDPR, IPR and VAT topics. Close collaboration with the research project owners and senior management is key and a problem-solving mind-set is requested.
