Contribute to our academic world as a Lecturer for English and German in permanent employment, in part time (20h) at our location in Berlin with a portion of remote working, starting on the 1st of September 2025.

You can expect

• You cover specific subjects in the field of English and German Language Teaching, including courses such as: Preparation Language Course English, Preparation Language Course German, Foundations of Academic English, Foundations of Business English, Applied Academic English, Applied Business English, or Project: Germany From the Inside.
• You are responsible for addressing all student questions related to lectures and preparing them for their professional careers.
• You confidently lead courses and tutorials on-site in English and German during the lecture period, with the option to work from home during off-times.
• You design courses using high-quality learning materials provided by us and conduct preparation and follow-up activities flexibly, remotely.
• You create and grade assessments and are responsible for designing and evaluating teaching materials (e.g., scripts, videos).
• You hold a completed master's degree or a doctorate in the field of languages or a related discipline with a focus on anglistics.
• You have practical work experience in the relevant field and subject, with knowledge of language teaching.
• Initial experience (e.g., as a tutor, teacher, lecturer, or research assistant) in academic teaching is advantageous.
• You possess a strong interest in innovative, digital, and modern education and enjoy working with students.
• You reside permanently in Germany.
• You have English and German language skills at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
