Scope of the Position

We are looking for a Lean Manager for our Continuous Improvement department. As part of the Site Leadership Team, the Lean Manager maintains and optimizes existing processes, equipment, control systems, and settings to continuously improve quality, efficiency, and safety.

Description of Main Activities/Responsibilities
  • Optimize processes, equipment, and control systems to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Support production by resolving operational issues, involving departments and suppliers as needed.
  • Design, test, and implement new processes and products from development to commercialization.
  • Enhance production process capabilities and reduce waste.
  • Lead "Operational Excellence" and "Total Productive Maintenance" initiatives at the site.
  • Implement cost-reduction strategies and improve data collection.
  • Optimize processes to reduce losses, increase capacity and efficiency, and improve safety and quality.
  • Manage Change Management in line with IRCA guidelines and safety standards.
  • Maintain process flow diagrams and specifications to support production.
  • Manage small capital improvement projects within set timelines and budgets.
Professional and Personal Skills
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in supervisory and process improvement roles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of process improvement tools (LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving and design skills.
  • Experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Change Management and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
