Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a small team of UI Artists and 2D artists.
2. Design high fidelity UI experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and align with the product's goals, usability and accessibility standards, and brand.
3. Guide and evolve the Visual and UI Design Systems to ensure a consistent and immersive gaming experience for players.
4. Collaborate with UI, UX, Game Designers, Producers, Art Directors, Project Managers, and Software Engineering teams.
5. Document and promote awareness of UI standards; work to improve UI design workflow processes.
6. Seek feedback on your work and provide constructive feedback to team members.
7. Foster a collaborative, service-oriented, and learning culture.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience as a UI Artist or UI Designer in the gaming industry.
2. A portfolio showcasing excellent graphic design skills, including typography, layout, composition, iconography, color, and motion design.
3. Leadership experience with small teams (1-10 people).
4. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Figma.
5. Experience in developing and applying style guides and design systems.
6. Strong technical understanding and ability to create flexible and scalable UI solutions.
7. Passion for UX, information design, and pixel-perfect implementation.
8. Motivated to contribute to a collaborative, transparent, and learning-oriented team environment.
9. Experience working within a game engine to create and implement UI features.
