The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

This position is a hybrid role based in New York City.

As a Lead Software Engineer on the Mobile team, you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and innovation within the organization. You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding mobile experience for our customers. As we continue to expand, we are seeking talented Software Engineers to help define and create that experience.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

• Strategy: You will help define and enact our mobile strategy.
• Native Mobile Development: You will write high quality code to deliver best-in-class native iOS and Android apps to our customers.
• Engineering Excellence: You maintain a high bar for quality through improving best practices, producing exemplary code, documentation, automated tests and thorough and precise monitoring.
• Mentorship: You build capacity in the team through mentoring and technical leadership, serving as an advisor for both team members and leaders.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or a relevant technical role.
• You are fluent in Android or iOS application development (Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C) and have familiarity with modern mobile frameworks and tools.
• You leverage strong interpersonal skills to design and collaborate on server-side APIs and components that interface with mobile applications.
• You have experience creating and leading technical architecture for a successful, well-reviewed mobile application.

Salary Range

$195,000 to $218,000 per year, plus equity and benefits. Final salary will be based on final level and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional benefits or equity.
