Position Summary

The Lead Program Security Advisor manages site security functions, including personnel, information, physical, program, cyber, and industrial security. The annual pay rate ranges from $110,500 to $149,500.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential

  1. Develops and implements comprehensive security programs to ensure compliance with customer regulations and contract requirements.
  2. Serves as the onsite Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), providing day-to-day security guidance for various programs and DoD contracts.
  3. Ensures positive control of all classified accountable items, complying with contractual obligations (DD Form 254).
  4. Processes all Visit Authorization Requests (VAR) and security clearances for visitors.
  5. Manages personnel security programs, including clearances, interviews, indoctrinations, and training.
  6. Develops and maintains security education and training materials.
  7. Prepares and maintains security documentation, plans, and procedures.
  8. Obtains and maintains accreditation for Special Program areas, conducting inventories and audits.
  9. Prepares security inspection materials and participates in inspections.
  10. Advises management on physical security measures to safeguard personnel and assets.
  11. Develops transportation security plans and ensures secure movement of classified and unclassified materials.
  12. Supports information systems security requirements and interfaces with customer IT teams.
  13. Investigates security incidents and reports findings.
  14. Maintains security documentation for classified contracts and subcontractors.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • BS/BA in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of eight years security experience.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related policies.
  • Experience with DoD security programs and applications such as DISS, NBIS, NISS, NCAISS, SWFT, and EQIP.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to operate independently.
  • Must possess a Top-Secret clearance, ability to obtain SCI eligibility, pass a CI polygraph, and maintain clearance.
  • U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. passport.
