As Lead Product Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for the vision, strategy and roadmap as well as the professional and disciplinary leadership of the Product Managers in your product area. You will take full responsibility for taking PlentyONE to the next level with us.

Are you ready to make a big difference and contribute your own ideas? Then let's get started!

PlentyONE promotes equal opportunities and diversity in the workplace and encourages all qualified individuals to apply, regardless of gender, age, origin, religion, sexual orientation or disability.

Your mission
  • You are responsible for developing the product strategy for your product area. Through regular market analyses and industry trends, you shape the product vision of the product area in a sustainable way.
  • You are both the technical and disciplinary lead of a Product Manager team; you act as a role model in terms of coaching and mentoring. You also take care of topics such as onboarding new employees, training and personnel development for your team.
  • You ensure that the product releases are harmonised, that the teams maintain an appropriate time to market and that the right product standard is guaranteed.
  • You look after our community and build strong relationships with customers and partners; you communicate the product vision and gather feedback from customers and partners.
  • You work closely with Engineering Management and communicate across teams with the other product areas.
  • In your role, you report directly to the CPO.

Your profile
  • Your strengths lie in product development, release strategies and product management principles.
  • Ideally, you already have 6+ years of experience as a product manager in e-commerce or similar areas, with ML and AI or in software development.
  • You have competences in business around and with domestic and international eCommerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Otto and others.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and good research skills; you are not new to agile principles.
  • You have strong negotiation skills and a hands-on mentality.
  • As a people manager, you take care of the needs of all team members; your excellent motivational skills and good conflict resolution skills round off your profile.
  • You have experience with modern leadership principles.
  • You are a strong communicator and fluent in German and English.

Benefits

Your voice counts! Your ideas for the success of PlentyONE and our support to look after you personally.
