With a presence in Berlin & Köln, we are expanding to other cities in Germany and planning our European expansion, becoming a growing tech platform provider. Setting offers versatile office solutions, from independent spaces to private offices and traditional setups. We are just getting started.

As the Lead / Head of Sales Real Estate & Marketplace at Setting, your role will be crucial in driving company growth. You will lead and expand our sales efforts, connecting businesses with their ideal office spaces in Berlin & beyond. You will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. As one of our early Commercial Managers, Setting offers an environment where mavericks can thrive.

Tasks

  1. Act on inbound leads with initial analysis and reach out through appropriate channels based on judgment.
  2. Ensure clients understand and communicate the value proposition of flexible office solutions.
  3. Conduct property tours and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
  4. Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  5. Assess vacancies and profitability at deal levels; collaborate on pricing and optimizations with the management team.
  6. Proactively reach out to potential leads through outbound efforts.
  7. Develop the sales team to enable further business growth.
  8. Support expansion into new markets by providing insights on trends, competitors, and opportunities in the local office space sector.
  9. Travel and networking (~25%).

Requirements

  1. High energy levels, strong networking and relationship-building skills, and thrive in hands-on environments.
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German are mandatory.
  3. Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  4. Ability to educate and pitch independently with a consultative approach.
  5. Proven sales experience (2-5 years), preferably in real estate, office space, B2B2X, or hospitality sectors.
  6. Analytical, strategic, and goal-oriented negotiator with a commercially driven attitude.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
