Responsibilities
- Lead the game programming discipline and support your team to reach their potential.
- Work with existing engine code to develop gameplay features, AI, and interactions.
- Develop and extend game systems for a high-profile game.
- Create high-quality software within project schedules and team standards.
- Coordinate with the Technical Director and other leads.
- Design immersive gameplay experiences.
- Debug and optimize performance on consoles and PC.
- Contribute to testing procedures.
- Maintain a passion for high-quality, state-of-the-art games.
- Enhance programming and communication skills.
- Drive your team and improve product quality and productivity.
- Participate in project status meetings.
- Collaborate with art, design, and production teams.
- Complete tasks on time with high standards.
- Maintain excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Mentor junior programmers and oversee discipline standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional game development experience.
- Shipped at least one product on console or PC, preferably multiplayer.
- Strong skills in creative and technical design processes.
- Ability to adopt and improve development processes.
- Excellent C++ skills in a game development environment.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with modern game development tools and methods.
- Experience with multi-threading and network optimization.
- Experience with any game engine, preferably CRYENGINE.
