A sports media company in Germany seeks a Lead Front End Developer to lead the front-end development team. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in React and TypeScript, showcasing leadership and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams. Responsibilities include end-to-end feature ownership and contributing to the tech roadmap while ensuring high-performance user interfaces. Competitive compensation is offered for this senior role.
As the Lead Front End Developer at ScorePlay, you will play a pivotal role in leading the front-end development efforts within our small development team. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will work collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary team of developers and designers to build and enhance front-end interfaces for our sports media platform. This is a senior-level position that requires expertise in front-end technologies, collaboration with product and marketing teams, and a strong understanding of cloud technology.
Clear Scope & Ownership
End-to-End Feature Ownership: You’ll own front-end features delivered by the CORE MAM feature team (one of three cross-functional squads). From initial requirements and UI/UX mocks through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring, you’ll be the single point of accountability.
Tech Roadmap Contribution: Partner with the CTO and your peers to shape our front-end roadmap—choosing patterns for our component library, defining performance budgets, and setting standards for code reuse and modularity.
