We are seeking a highly skilled Modeling Engineer to join our team and lead pursuit engineering activities for our automotive energy solutions. This customer-facing role requires a dynamic individual with experience in complex systems and the ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities : What you will do

Support pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries Sodium Ion batteries and super capacitors.

Collaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored modeling solutions.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including design manufacturing and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of modeling solutions.

Conduct system-level analysis modeling and simulations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive standards.

Work closely with the cell team to develop systems level models to analyze systems performance and life requirements.

Manage multiple projects concurrently ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Provide technical support and guidance to customers from early customer engagement through project award.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities : What we look for

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related field. Masters degree preferred.

Proven experience in modeling engineering particularly in the automotive industry.

Strong understanding of low voltage Lithium Ion batteries Sodium Ion batteries and super capacitors.

Advanced experience with Python and or Matlab as well as at least one 1D modeling like Simscape Amesim Dymola or similar.

Experience with 3D modeling tools (Ansys LS-Dyna Abaqus StarCCM) preferred.

Experience with complex systems and automotive customers.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.

Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fluent in both German and English
