Your tasks
- Take ownership of the steer-by-wire system - one of the key elements of our autonomous HOLON urban - ensuring its successful development and seamless integration into the vehicle
- Work closely with suppliers and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across all parties
- Oversee the development, delivery, and cost management of all system components, including mechanical parts, electronic components, and software, while ensuring alignment with overall vehicle program milestones
- Collaborate with internal teams such as E/E, vehicle integration, and vehicle performance to define and align technical and functional requirements for the steering system
- Plan, manage, and oversee the test and validation process for the steering system to ensure compliance with all functional, performance, and safety requirements
Your profile
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in vehicle development, preferably with a focus on steering system development and integration
- Ability to manage complex projects while maintaining a balance between cost, quality, and timing, ensuring all milestones are achieved
- Interest in and understanding of vehicle software development and delivery processes, with the ability to collaborate effectively with E/E and software teams.
- Familiarity with type approval processes and approval-relevant development, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance
- In-depth knowledge of autonomous systems, including functional safety, cybersecurity standards, and regulations specific to autonomous vehicles (e.g., AFGBV).
