Zusammenfassung

The Mobility House GmbH is seeking a senior electrical engineering professional to lead the design and integration of bidirectional EV charging solutions, combining V2G with energy management. You will coordinate testing, requirements engineering, and interoperability testing, work with hardware and software teams, and engage external consultants to ensure regulatory compliance.

Fluent English is required, and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset will help deliver robust, scalable charging

Qualifikationen

• Completed university degree in electrical engineering or energy-related field.
• Proven track record leading EV charging solution development (design/architecture).
• Experience in testing environments, smart charging focus preferred (ISTQB nice-to-have).
• Knowledge of bi-directional EV charging regulatory requirements for hardware and software.
• Exposure to interoperability issues behind-the-meter in EV charging.

What you do

• Pioneer the first commercial and fully energy market integrated product combining V2G with HEMS
• Supervise and coordinate technical and regulatory aspects related to bidirectional EV charging hardware and software development including interoperability testing
• Coordinate and actively participate in testing activities and bug fixing, including hands-on technical work on hardware when required.
• Architectural integration of charging hardware into our smart charging ecosystem and CPMS backend
• Drive and coordinate requirements engineering around bidirectional charging and energy management
• Interact with and coordinate our internal stakeholders as well as external consultants and suppliers

Who you are

• A successfully completed university degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any energy-related field
• A proven track record in leading and coordinating development of EV charging solutions, ideally on a solution design or architecture level
• Experience in testing environments, with a focus on smart charging technologies,ISTQB certification is considered a plus
• Profound knowledge of the processual and regulatory requirements of bi-directional EV charging, for both hardware and software
• Significant previous exposure to common problems of interoperability with EVs and other assets behind-the-meter
• Preferred: Technical qualification with certification for installation of the test setups, e.g. HV2 for high voltage systems
• A hands-on mindset to solve problems pragmatically
• Fluent English skills
