Based in Engineering-hub of Germany, a pioneering, international, and ferociously expanding company is offering an unequaled Lead Data Scientist role.

This specialist company develops world-leading measurement instruments for the environmental sector. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Lead Data Scientist to utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.

Responsibilities

Leadership :

• Coordinate and implement team / product strategy in collaboration with the Director of AI / Data Science
• Work cross-functionally (Software, Business, etc.) to conform product goals
• Research and implement cutting-edge Data Science and AI trends / technologies
• Deliver technical leadership to a well-established Data Science team

Technical :

• Identify and implement DL architectures
• Ensure cooperation and collaboration of multiple AI / Data Science projects within the business

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar
• 6+ years of professional experience (post-grad) in Data Science
• 2+ years of professional experience in a Team Lead, Technical Lead, or Managerial role
• Python programming
• Excellent knowledge & experience in designing and implementing DL architecture (e.g. CNN, RNN, etc.)
• Experience and involvement in MLOps
• Fluency in English, German is a bonus
