Masentó are partnering with an innovative Manufacturing business based in the Stuttgart area who are pushing the growth of their digital landscape.

We are on the search for a Lead Data Scientist who can help forge the future of the company's AI innovations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor a team of data experts to deliver impactful insights and AI solutions.
  • Develop advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Define and implement Deep Learning architectures and strategies creating synergies across data science projects; aligned with business needs.
  • Drive the development and implementation of predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable data science projects.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and manufacturing technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Drive the innovation of new technologies & implementation, including NLP, LLMs and Generative AI

Qualifications :

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in leading data science teams and delivering impactful projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
  • Strong expertise in machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
