Job Description

Your mission

• Develop and implement a comprehensive system for planning and establishing modern analytics for our industrial line, including integration of incoming inspections, outgoing goods inspections, and development of process analytics with continuous monitoring and control.
• Contribute expertise in operational processes and laboratory setup at an industrial level.
• Manage process monitoring at our Dormagen site and coordinate between departments such as Quality Assurance, Industrialization, and teams in Aachen.
• Advance analysis techniques and ensure their seamless integration into industrial processes.
• Oversee external test trials, monitor device setup and installation, and support recruitment of new staff.
• Prepare and support laboratory certification to meet all requirements and uphold high quality standards.
• Lead a team of 4 to 6 members, fostering open communication and ensuring effective task fulfillment.

Your profile

• Several years of industrial laboratory experience, preferably with management experience.
• Experience in cross-department coordination and laboratory management.
• Degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Deep knowledge of analytical techniques, online analytics, and their industrial application.
• Ideally familiar with LIMS and/or DCS systems.
• Experience in setting up laboratories is a plus.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, independent, and goal-oriented work approach.
• Enjoy developing technical concepts and creating practical solutions for automation.
• Structured working style with strong documentation and communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
