As Lead Artist,you will guide and mentor artists, help shape and maintain the art direction at both franchise and product levels, and ensure efficient workflows across teams. Actingas a key touchpoint for stakeholders, you willbalance creative vision with production needs while fostering a motivated and empowered art team.

YOUR MISSION

• Supervise and develop a team of artists, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for growth
• Set and maintain the art direction across the franchise, ensuring consistency and alignment with product goals
• Optimize workflows and improve organizational structures to enhance efficiency in art production
• Motivate, empower, and support the team, addressing concerns and facilitating conflict resolution
• Act as a key liaison between the art team and other departments, including Heads of Product and stakeholders
• Advise on hiring and team structure, supporting recruitment and replacement decisions to ensure a strong art team
• Manage outsourcing pipelines, ensuring smooth collaboration with external partners and maintaining quality standards

YOUR BACKSTORY

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in game art production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role
• Strong understanding of art direction, composition, color theory, and asset production for games
• Familiarity with art pipelines, Unity engine, and outsourcing workflows
• Proven ability to mentor, motivate, and manage teams, with excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
• Comfortable working with product teams, designers, and developers, balancing creative vision with production constraints
• A proactive mindset with a structured approach to optimizing workflows and overcoming challenges
