Program Summary:
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work in 14 countries.
Job Summary:
Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a variety of equipment, including motor vehicles (such as automobiles, buses, trucks, or tractors), electrical appliances (like stoves, refrigerators, or dishwashers), or heavy equipment (including cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools). Works under limited supervision and must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, overhaul, repair, and maintain all types of automotive, hydraulic equipment, and diesel-powered vehicles. Installs specified parts, makes adjustments, and reassembles units. Disassembles engines and mechanical units for inspection. Executes preventive maintenance procedures, performs inspections, and promotes safety. May require knowledge of oilfield services equipment operation and maintenance. Typically, 24-36 months of experience is needed.
