Title: LCV APS-2 Germany: Sr. Mechanic - Contingency

Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary

Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a variety of equipment including: motor vehicles such as automobiles, buses, trucks, or tractors; electrical appliances like stoves, refrigerators, or dishwashers; or heavy equipment like cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools. Works under limited supervision. Must demonstrate ability to troubleshoot, overhaul, repair, and maintain automotive, hydraulic equipment, and diesel vehicles. Installs specified parts and makes adjustments. Disassembles engines and mechanical units for inspection. Performs preventive maintenance and inspections as required. Promotes teamwork, safety, and quality improvement. Knowledge of oilfield services equipment is a plus. Typically requires 24-36 months of experience.
