LAUDS Factories: LAUDS Replication Exploration between Artists and Technology Providers (Germany, Ukraine, Switzerland, Spain, France)

LAUDS Factories invites artists/creative people and technology providers to submit proposals for Experiments aimed at exploring and working with LAUDS factories to enhance their usability and uptake, while answering to pressing challenges in the mobility, energy and agriculture/food production sectors.

The project has 216,000 EUR to provide support to at least eight Experiments that will be collaborating with LAUDS Factories in activities such as conceiving novel uses of technologies that help push for green solutions, and/or exploring alternative design methods using artistic practices creating new industrial models connecting potential manufacturers partners, creatives and end-users.

The selected teams will implement their projects in cooperation with one of the LAUDS Factories Experiments Hosting Partners (in Germany, Ukraine, Switzerland, Spain or France), benefiting from the guidance and support of LAUDS Factories partners, while contributing to improve the LAUDS Factories Partners and Project processes and procedures, connecting potential manufacturers partners, creatives and end-users. Experiments expected duration is 6 to 9 months (November 2025 to August 2026).

Proposals must be submitted by a consortium composed of a minimum of two legal entities, with at least one artist/creative and one technology provider. Entities must be established in an EU or a Horizon Europe Associated country.

OC#2 of LAUDS Factories will support at least eight Experiments with:

• Up to 27,000 EUR each Experiment (which can include travel costs);
• 3 types of mentoring and assistance: administrative (provided by INOVA+), technical (provided by LAUDS Factories Hosting Partner) and communication (SUPSI);
• 1:1 meetings with experts on specific topics identified by selected teams (e.g. IPR, business models);
• Training workshops (collective) offered by the LAUDS Factories Partners and other experts;
