Position: Landscape & Environmental Planner (m/f/d)

Location: Frankfurt am Main | Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Work

A well-established international solar energy company is expanding its team in Germany and seeking a Landscape & Environmental Planner to support the development of open-space photovoltaic systems.

In this role, you will contribute to GIS-based site analyses, coordinate environmental assessments, and work closely with planning authorities and external consultants to support project feasibility and permitting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct white area and potential site analyses using GIS (QGIS preferred)
• Assess planning and environmental constraints in early-stage solar projects
• Coordinate and review expert environmental reports
• Serve as a liaison with environmental authorities and consultants
• Support cross-functional teams in project development

Requirements:

• Degree in landscape planning, landscape architecture, or a related discipline
• Solid understanding of environmental planning and species protection regulations
• Proficiency with GIS software and MS Office applications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
